Does OnlyFans Send You Mail? Solved! (Full 2023 Guide!)

If you're using OnlyFans to subscribe to content creators, then OnlyFans will not send any mail to your address after you have signed up for an account. If you're an OnlyFans content creator, OnlyFans is required to provide a 1099 tax form to those who have grossed and withdrawn a minimum of $600 income from non-employment throughout the tax year.

Why Does OnlyFans Want My Address?

OnlyFans asks for your address for account verification purposes, as when you sign up for an account, you'll need to prove that it's actually you who is doing so. Part of this process includes documents such as your i.d, and address. This remains safely locked away in the OnlyFans database, and neither the content creators you have subscribed to, nor anyone else viewing your profile will be able to access this information.

Additionally, your address serves as part of a spam prevention process, so providing your details means they can't be used more than once to sign up for an OnlyFans account.

As you can see, addresses are used for personal records, and security purposes, and you won't receive anything in the mail from the company unless you're a content creator requiring an IRS 1099 form.

Can People Find Your Address On OnlyFans?

OnlyFans is a legitimate social media platform; and a secure website, such as using third-party payment processors, and two-factor authentication, so nobody is going to be able to access your personal information, such as your home address.

When you follow a creator, only your username will be shown on the notification. So, your profile can be accessed by OnlyFans creators if you are subbed to them, but this is limited to your username and display name, your profile picture, and bio. As you can see, this information doesn't include your address.

However, if you use your real name on OnlyFans, then people might be able to use this information and look up your address through other means, so by using a pen name, you add an extra layer of safety to your identity. Finally, to view the security options available to you, log into your account and locate Settings, Privacy and Safety.

Does OnlyFans send you a 1099 in the mail?

The short answer is yes; if you earn over a certain amount on the platform during the tax year you’ll be sent a 1099 form in the mail.

If you're an OnlyFans content creator, then you're classed as an independent contractor to the IRS, and any business, including OnlyFans, is required by law to provide a 1099 tax form to those who have grossed and withdrawn a minimum of $600 income from non-employment throughout the tax year.

This only applies to content creators in the United States. For those of you just subscribing to channels, you're not making any money from the platform, and therefore you’re not required to submit any documents to the IRS, and won't receive any mail to your address from OnlyFans.
